A Diabetes EXPO is everything a consumer needs to know about diabetes and healthy eating, active living under one roof – it’s entertaining, educational and informative. Attendance continues to climb! We reached over 70,000 people in 2006 and project reaching almost 90,000 for 2007.
- ADA markets Diabetes EXPO – we place between 300,000 – 500,000 brochures in doctors’ offices, hospitals, diabetes centers, retail outlets and consumers’ mailboxes.
- ADA recruits retail and media sponsors – We work with local TV, radio and print outlets as well as retail stores to promote our EXPOS.
- ADA is the nation's leading voluntary health organization supporting diabetes research, information and advocacy - Founded in 1940, the Association has offices in every region of the country, providing services to hundreds of communities.
